Mitra Keluarga To Distribute Dividend of Rp363,8 Billion

Jakarta, May 30, 2016 – At the Shareholders’ General and Extraordinary Meeting, which was held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Auditoarium of Mitra Keluarga Hospital Kelapa Gading, Jakarta, the President Director of PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk ((“Mitra Keluarga” or the “Company”), Ir. Rustiyan Oen, MBA, presents the performance of the company in 2015. The Company’s performance showed positive growth characterized by the rate of increase growth in revenue and net profit, which are in healthy condition. In accordance with the Company’s commitment to increase return of investment of the shareholders and supported by the Company’s strong cash flow, the Company’s Board of Directors proposed a Rp363,8 billion (64.2% payout-ratio) or Rp25, – per share cash dividend.

The net profit in 2015 has reached Rp588,5 billion, an increase of 9.7% from the previous year performance, supported by increased revenue of 10.0%, from Rp1.945,5 billion in 2014 to Rp2.140,7 billion in the year 2015. the gross profit margin rose to 45.4% from 44.4% a year earlier, supported by ongoing efforts to improve performance efficiency. Revenue from outpatient services to achieve growth of 14.1%, while revenue from inpatient services rose by 7.9% in 2015.

Sales growth is supported by the growth of healthcare services in hospitals owned by the Company and the successful opening of its twelfth hospital, namely Mitra Keluarga Kalideres in 2015 with a total of 44 beds operating for the early stages and is planned to continue to increase the number of beds in line with growing numbers of patients in the hospital.

In 2015, net income amounted to Rp588,5 grew by 9.7% and reflects the Company’s ratio of earnings to sales after tax stable at 27.5% compared to last year. In addition, the Company also has no bank debt or other debt instruments and recorded a net cash position amounted to Rp2.387,2 billion on December 31, 2015.

The Company establishes the use of profits for the financial year ended on December 31, 2015 for a dividend of Rp363,8 billion while Rp5.7 billion will be recorded as a reserve fund and the remainder recorded as retained earnings.

The Company also report the use of proceeds from the Public Offering for the period ending March 31, 2016. IPO Funds already realized amounted to Rp156.6 billion and are mostly used for building Mitra Keluarga Kalideres hospital. Remaining funds amounting to Rp1.1 trillion is stored in the form of time deposits and current accounts.

Through this meeting, the Company also set a change in the composition of the Board of Commissioners and / or its Directors and is to appoint new members of the Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors which are Hamzah bin Mahmood, MBA as Commissioner and dr. Esther Maria Ramono, MM as an Independent Director.

The Company’s Optimism in Building the Healthcare Industry in Indonesia

Going forward, the Company plans to open six hospitals until 2019 in Jakarta and Surabaya, which is to be implemented according to the original plan which is expected by the end of 2019, the Company will operate 18 hospitals with a capacity of approximately 3,400 beds. Two hospitals are planned to be opened in 2017.

Mitra Keluarga at a Glance

Mitra Keluarga built its first hospital back in 1989 and currently owns and operates twelve hospitals, of which eight are located in Greater Jakarta, three in Surabaya, East Java, and one in Tegal, Central Java. Typically, the hospitals are equipped with emergency rooms, outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, operating rooms, intensive care units and a pharmacy, as well as laboratory and radiology facilities.
